From her earliest days, Gretchen has been obsessed with jewelry.
As a student of Art History, she loves examining clues on a necklace or ring that will place it in a given historical period. This skillset, combined with her gemology studies, allows Gretchen the ability to identify your heirloom’s era, the gemstones it contains and any precious metals used. As an appraiser, her objective is to assign a value to the piece.
Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University and was awarded her Graduate Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 2022.
As a respected dealer in antique and estate fine jewelry for the past 20 years, she has had the pleasure of handling many special pieces over the years and looks forward to seeing what treasures you would like to have evaluated.
